Pet Portraits

  • We can get up close and personal with all animals. Send us your bunny, turtle, cat etc. We would love to create portraits for all animals! As we do more species and breeds, we will be sure to feature them on our website and on social media.

  • In an effort to get your order to you as efficiently as possible, we do not send proofs or previews. We hope that when you choose your style and see the style examples, you will have a good enough idea of what to expect. But also, we love a grand reveal! Our designers will reach out to you if we find your submitted photo will not make the best portrait. Be sure to review Photo Guidelines.

  • Yes! We are happy to help with changes to your pet portrait order as long as you reach out to hello@pupmugscollective.com within 12 hours of your order being placed. After 12 hours most changes, including address updates, can no longer be made.  Please note, in some cases, changes to orders may result in shipping delays.

  • If you followed our photo guidelines, then yes your photo is very likely good enough to use.

    • Lighting! Make sure to take your photo in a well lit area or in natural light.

    • Close up and head on! Try to take the photo at eye level

    • All about the details! Get close up so we can see your pet's unique features

    • Make sure the photo is not blurry

    • Keep in frame! Be sure to keep your pet’s face in the frame. Make sure no features (e.g. ears!) are out of frame - we can't add them if they aren't in the original photo

    Design will be checking photos as orders are placed. If there's an issue with your photo, we'll let you know very quickly via email.If we do need a new photo from you, this may lengthen your delivery time by a few days.

    Please note that if you refuse to provide a new photo after we have informed you that the original photo may not result in the best quality artwork, then we cannot refund you. It's your responsibility to ensure that you are happy with the photo you provide.

    Note: All examples on our website were produced using high quality photos.

  • We offer a high quality digital file of your completed. We will email you your pet’s portrait once our design team has done their magic! Great opportunity for you to print extras!

Returns

  • Because each print is completely custom, we are unable to offer returns. Your custom artwork is designed with care and is personal to the photo you provided and your pet.

    If you're unhappy with your artwork, we'll work with you on revisions. We do ask that you reach out to our team within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. 

  • We begin work on each custom Pup Mug portrait order promptly after they are placed. To cancel an order, please email hello@pupmugscollective.com within 12 hours of your order being placed and we will process a refund at our discretion. After 12 hours, it is not possible to cancel your order.
